From Termite Damaged Hardwood to Repaired Flooring: Hardwood Installation & Refinish

This Red Oak hardwood flooring project in Longmeadow, MA involved the removal of existing baseboards, demolition and replacement of termite-damaged hardwood, and full sanding and refinishing to restore the floor to a clean, uniform appearance. Termite damage can compromise both the integrity and safety of hardwood floors, making prompt repair and replacement critical.

All damaged sections of flooring were carefully removed and replaced with new Red Oak hardwood to match the existing floor. Once repairs were complete, the entire area was sanded and refinished to ensure a seamless blend between new and original flooring.

The project covered approximately 400 square feet and was completed in five days from start to finish. This restoration eliminated compromised wood, improved structural integrity, and delivered a refreshed, durable hardwood floor that will perform reliably for years to come.
