Red Oak Flooring Feathered Into Existing Floors
From Tile Demolition to Seemless Installation: Red oak Transformation
Project Overview

From Tile Demolition to Seemless Installation: Red oak Transformation
This Red Oak hardwood flooring project involved full tile demolition and the seamless integration of unfinished Red Oak flooring into the existing space. The new hardwood was carefully feathered in using glue and staples to blend perfectly with the original flooring, creating a tight and continuous surface across the entire open floor plan.
After the installation was complete, the entire 900 square foot area was sanded uniformly to ensure consistent height, texture, and appearance throughout the space. The floors were then professionally finished, with the entire project completed start to finish in under one week.
Feathering hardwood flooring into existing floors is one of the most challenging tasks in the flooring industry and requires precision, experience, and attention to detail. This project showcases our ability to create a seamless, original-looking result that blends new and existing hardwood into one cohesive floor.
