Before any new boards go down, we remove the old flooring and check the subfloor for soft spots and squeaks, fixing whatever needs it. We install the hardwood with tight seams and leave proper spacing so the wood can move with New England's seasons. Then we sand, stain, and finish it on site so every board matches.
The Right Hardwood for Every Room
We install solid and engineered hardwood in red oak, white oak, maple, and other species. Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished many times over its life. Engineered hardwood handles humidity changes better, which makes it a good fit for basements and concrete slabs. We'll help you choose the wood, stain color, and finish for your home and budget.
Hardwood That Blends With Your Existing Floors
Since we repair and refinish hardwood too, we know how to tie new boards into the floors you already have. If you're adding hardwood to one room, we can weave it into the surrounding floors and refinish everything together so it reads as one continuous floor. One crew handles the job from start to finish and cleans up when we're done.
